Hi all! Hope to see you at The Rex in Toronto on Sunday, July 22 at 9:30! This is a very exciting gig for me… it’s my first time at this great jazz club and also with the great Mark Eisenman on keys! We’ll be doing some of my favourite jazz standards. There will be a cover charge at the door. Come one, and come all!
In other news, I met with the fine folks at Kitchener’s Registry Theatre and will be doing a “Jazz Goes to the Movies” concert there next season with the great bass player Jason Raso! Very excited to reunite with Jason (we worked together on an April gig at the Registry with his band as the headliner) and this concert will be one of my first opportunities to combine two of my loves: classic film and jazz standards! I’ll keep you posted on the exact date.
I will also be at the K-W Jazz Room this fall, so keep your eye out for an exact date for that as well. It will be my first time playing there, and it’s one that I am very excited about since it’s such a respected venue and in my hometown!
