WEDDINGS
Do you want a vocalist to add that special moment to your wedding ceremony? Want some classy jazz as part of your wedding reception? Mary-Catherine can deliver both. She can give you traditional classical music or a popular love song or ballad for your church/non church ceremony, informal background jazz during the cocktail hour, and/or make your reception memorable by providing the live entertainment. Mary-Catherine will provide the right ensemble of instruments depending on the vibe you are wanting for your special day, while also taking your budget for music into consideration. Whether you want just piano accompaniment, or a jazz combo, Mary-Catherine can provide you with either!
If you have a specific song in mind for your ceremony or reception, Mary-Catherine will gladly learn the music, and do her best to find the sheet music for you as well. If you are wanting suggestions regarding what genre/style of music you are looking for or are having a hard time deciding on the perfect song, Mary-Catherine is happy to assist you with all matters musical for your special day!
Take a listen to Two for the Road on Mary-Catherine’s Recordings page, an often-requested wedding song of hers, to get a sense of the kind of music she can offer you on your wedding day.
Below is a list of pieces Mary-Catherine has ready to sing from her frequently-performed jazz repertoire that would be appropriate for your perfect day! Live recordings of these pieces will be available to hear on the site in January, but, in the meantime, pop onto YouTube and just enter the song title. There will be many examples of how the tune will sound, and you can also Google the lyrics to see if you think they are appropriate for you and accurately reflect the feelings you have toward your soon-to-be-spouse!

If you are based in Waterloo, Mary-Catherine operates a voice studio out of Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo (50 Erb Street West, Waterloo, right across the street from the Waterloo Public Library). With Mary-Catherine as your teacher, you can be guaranteed to learn how to sing safely and with proper technique, while learning and performing music you are actually interested in singing.
